There are always many questions that can arise while searching for a preschool for your family. Here are some answers to the most frequent ones. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.


Q: Does Casas Christian Preschool offer financial assistance?
A: Yes, a modest amount of financial assistance is available to a limited number of families based upon documented financial need.

Q: Does Casas Christian Preschool (CCP) utilize a professionally developed curriculum?
A: Yes, Casas Christian Preschool's (CCP) curriculum for all programs up through four year olds is based upon the age specific "WEE Learn Curriculum Guides" published by the Preschool-Children's Department of the Convention Press, Southern Baptist Convention. The Kinder Bridge program utilizes a McMillan/McGraw-Hill Pre-K reading curriculum and a kindergarten level math curriculum by Saxon. These well-known math and reading curricula are the direct precursors to the curricula used by the Casas Christian School kindergarten.

Q: Are teachers certified or academically trained?
A: CCP teachers are required to have a 2 or 4 year degree in early childhood education or have a Child Development Associate certification or be working on the degree/certification with Casas Christian Preschool's financial support. As a matter of Casas Christian Preschool policy and state licensure regulations, all staff must complete a minimum of twelve hours per year of early childhood development continuing education.

Q: Is lunch provided?
A: CCP offers a morning and afternoon snack and parents provide lunch.

Q: Does CCP offer transportation?
A: Parents transport their children to and from CCP.

Q: What is the registration procedure?
A: A completed Application and an Application Fee reserves the child's place in a classroom for two weeks. In compliance with Arizona regulations, the forms/information noted above must be completed and included in the child's file at CCP before child may begin attending CCP.

Q: Once I complete registration/enrollment of my child at CCP, what do I need to bring?
A: For Child's Classroom: Napper (provided by CCP), comfort toy for nap, lunch, change of clothing (please label all items with child's first and last name). Individual classrooms may have additional requests depending the child's needs. For CCP Office: Copy of child's birth certificate, immunization records including Dr's verification, copies of Mom and Dad's drivers license and a completed Emergency Form (supplied by CCP).

Q: Does Casas Christian Preschool take support from the D.E.S. (Department of Economic Security)?

A: CCP does not accept support from the D.E.S., however as noted above, CCP may provide limited financial assistance to qualified applicants.
