Kinder Bridge Program

Casas Christian Preschool recognizes that some children are too developmentally advanced for a traditional preschool setting. Other children are not quite ready to enter Kindergarten, but need more than another year of preschool to challenge them. To address these unique needs, CCP offers a special program, Kinder Bridge. It is taught by a very experienced, credentialed and exceptionally capable early education teacher. This program of no more than 15 children (as compared to the typical Kindergarten class of 20 children). Kinder Bridge provides children with a hands-on enriched curriculum focusing on pre-reading, writing, and mathematical concepts. Students experience interesting age appropriate science and social studies units throughout the year, as well as art and creative writing experience. This unique program includes many physical education and outdoor experiences. Additionally, the students participate in "bridging" social activities throughout the year with the Casas Christian School's Kindergarten classes. The program emphasizes the development of children's readiness skills, preparing them for the next educational step into Kindergarten.

The schedule for Kinder Bridge mirrors Casas Christian School's Kindergarten daily hours of 8:00 AM to 2:15 PM five days per week, and it follows the traditional school calendar. Extended care is available before and after school for an additional charge. To enter this program, the child must be five years old by September 30 of the current school year.
